In the midst of my daily blog hopping in the library I found...7teentwenty2.blogspot.com (dope blog btw) and I didn't realize that I had the volume on my computer on blast your fucking ears off...with no earphones in. Sooooo....in the middle of a quiet library my computer proceeds to belt this terribly loud music...

I scrambled to turn the volume down BUT I noticed the song was dope, so I just put my earphones in...

Late March I went to this Cloudeater/GirlTalk concert @ Emory (where I almost died in a mosh pit) and though I had a near death experience the GirlTalk ppl, who claim not to be dj's, played similar music...i dug.

Pure Dopeness...Its like CNN and MTV had a lovechild...

And the hosts are debatably the coolest muthafunkers on the planet...like I'd date any of them...they're super witty and weird...and I "think" they write their own material(if they write it at all) they lowkey sound like its improv...

And if its one thing the universe needs less of, its not murderers, thiefs, and terrorists...Its SCRIPTED TV SHOWS!!!! Damnit!

Current TV is Al Gore's brainchild...the channel first aired in 2005, so its relatively new...but well worth watching so it stays on tv...

The coolest thing about the channel is that most if not all of the material that they air are viewer submissions...ppl send in documentaries on art, culture, politics...everything...and they air it (if its good)...and sometimes they pay you for it...like there's this one show, "Rotten Tomatoes", and it basically bashes the latest movies but the critiques come from the viewers...and if they air your critique...they send you a whopping 100 bucks!!!

Its like a continuous Youtube without all the whack meaningless shit that you don't want to see... I give it 2 thumbs up...

I don't mind ppl enjoying the art...but do some research damnit...just cuz ur new to their art doesn't mean the artist hasn't been doing this intellectual futuristic shit since the begining of time!

Its just that they produce the same caliber of eye openingness with every album they release...and they've BEEN doing that since they first came out!
Plus...Good shit is good shit...whether you look like an Avatar character...ahem Kelis...
or if you wanna walk the streets in your b'day suit like those french girls in that "Make the Girl Dance" video...ahem Badu...

Bottom line...they are dope artists and if you plan on jumping on the bandwagon now...know a lil somethin about the wagon you're jumping into...
