In those cherished moments when i get to eat in the caf @ school...mmm mmm mmm(sporadic church shout [Yes Lawd!])...along with my cheese omelet (courtesy of Ms. D)...i get to see a little piece of heaven in a black man...

But I went back in the caf after eating because I decided to walk to the library and it was a little chilly, so I figured a coffee would ease the winds...

Since Erykah's latest project Return of the Ankh...and Kelis's new vid Acapella...ppl have been jumping on the bandwagon HARD!

I don't mind ppl enjoying the art...but do some research damnit...just cuz ur new to their art doesn't mean the artist hasn't been doing this intellectual futuristic shit since the begining of time!

(under my breath) talking bout "This is a new sound and new look for Badu and Kelis"
(outside voice) No the eff its not!!!...different from these whack stagnant mediocre artists maybe...
but these two ladies have ALWAYS been on some next level shit!

Hope you didn't mistake my disdain for the bandwagon jumpers for me sayin that these two beautiful artists don't produce eye opening material...They clearly DO!...
Its just that they produce the same caliber of eye openingness with every album they release...and they've BEEN doing that since they first came out!
Plus...Good shit is good shit...whether you look like an Avatar character...ahem Kelis...
or if you wanna walk the streets in your b'day suit like those french girls in that "Make the Girl Dance" video...ahem Badu...

Bottom line...they are dope artists and if you plan on jumping on the bandwagon now...know a lil somethin about the wagon you're jumping into...
